LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW

Well this past week has been pretty crazy in my life. I am truly grateful that this time of year we get to celebrate our Savior's birth.

Well to give an update, I just got over a bad case of the flu. I had to miss a day of work which put me behind a little bit up I was able to catch up until we had a huge snow storm come and blow into the Inland Northwest. This is a storm that nobody has heard of. We broke so many records for how much snow that we received. It all started on Wednesday, 12/17/08 when it took me 2 and 1/2 hours to get home from work when it usually takes only a half an hour. I did try the next day to dig my car out and drive to work but after all the hard work, I gave up and called in saying I couldn't go and they said stay home. Then in the afternoon a co-worker called saying we would be closed on Friday as well. This snow did put me even more behind from when I was sick, but I trust the Lord that this was in his plan and He will catch me up when I return on Monday. The only question right now is how to get to work on Monday. I also trust that God will get me get me there safe and sound.

Here are some pictures from the huge storm:

Now you can see what Spokane has been through recently. The weather people have warned us that another storm is headed our way for Sunday and will only drop another 5 inches or so. Just to put this in perspective, we had about 20 inches fall in a 24 hour period and about 28 inches total in a 48 hour period. It is a ton of snow. I was able to get some things done around the house for my dad's business to help him close out the year, but I am still worried about all the things that have to be done at my job on Monday. I knew we would get snow, but not this much. This is crazy.

Well now it is time to prepare for my brother, sister-in-law, and three nieces to arrive on the 23rd which means, deep cleaning the basement for them. I still have Christmas wrapping to do, and so much more. I am just excited for this season. It is truly amazing.

Well that is the happenings to T-Money right now. I do pray that this holiday season will be merry, bright and a huge blessing to you. Always remember that Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World is the Reason for the Season.

Happy Thanksgiving

Today is the day to give thanks for anything that is important in your life. I do pray that your Thanksgiving has been one of lots of fun watching football and stuffing yourself with tons of food. Here are the things that I have done today. Up at a huge park on the south side of Spokane, I met a friend to do a little fun run called the Turkey Trot. It was tons of fun. We finished the trot in 36 minutes. I was happy with my time as the 3 mile course has some hills on it. After that I went to Starbucks, and yes some Starbucks are open in Spokane on Thanksgiving Day and got a bagel with cream cheese, blueberry scone and a signature hot chocolate. It was all delicious. Then I came home, took a nice hot shower, watched some football, even though my Seahawks got their butts kicked and even took a nap, while making sure my computer didn't have any viruses and run faster by running some tests. Right now I am digesting my food and knowing in my mind that I will be doing some exercising later tonight to get rid of the guilt. Also my Gonzaga Bulldogs play tonight so will be watching them. Go Bulldogs!!!

Tomorrow, the day after Thanksgiving "Black Friday" is a new day that will consist of lots of shopping and reattaching the Christmas lights in my room for the upcoming holiday season. Plus, I will also be enjoying my long weekend from work as I am taking a few days off. I also have to clean some windows and curtains, laundry, my dad's business books and much more. I can predict that this weekend will go by really fast and some things may not get down.

Well last week was a special event for me. It was my birthday on November 19th. I am still able to tell people my age. I turned 23 years old and I do feel older even though I am not that old. For my birthday, I had to work at my new job which I love, then my parents and I went out to Bruchi's to have sandwiches and salad and then went down to Gonzaga to the GU Women's Basketball game against Utah Valley State University which they won. Thank you ladies for the amazing birthday present. My parents bought me a basketball where you can get autographs and so we got all the players autographs and the head coaches. Thanks to my mom as she did all the asking and the hard work. I was able to get my picture taken with my favorite player from the team. She is Jami Schaefer formly Jami Bjorklund as she was married in August. I just want to thank Jami for taking the time to talk with me for a few minutes and then the picture. The picture is below.

Overall I had an awesome birthday that I will never forget. The work ladies took me out to lunch, I went to the game, and also received a new New American Standard Bible: The Inductive Study Bible that will help me continue to grow in my relationship with the Lord.

Now I must go as I still need to download all of my Christmas music to my Ipod and gear up for listening to it for this short period of time with only 4 weeks until Christmas. I do want to leave you with the things that I am thankful for this year.

Trinity is thankful for:
-my family, dad, mom, troy, erin, maddie, ella, charlotte, tim, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and everybody. God places us into our families and I am truly thankful that I am in this one.
-my job, some people don't enjoy their job but do it to make money to survive. I enjoy/love my job and am thankful that the Lord provided it for me.
-my friends, they truly know me and like me for who I am.
-sports, if it wasn't for sports and competition I don't know how I could live.
-music, this is inspiration to me.
-the people I look up to, if it wasn't for these people, and there are so many to name, I wouldn't be where I am today.
-most of all I am thankful for the creator of the world, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for taking away the sins of this world by shedding his blood on the cross for me and everyone. That gift is what makes me want to honor, trust, and be more like Him everyday.

Well there is so much more to be thankful for, but that is what I will share right now. May our Almighty Father God bless you on this holiday and in the upcoming season. Remember that Jesus is the Reason for the Season.

Some exciting news, yeah!!!!!

Hello to the people who read this blog and I don't know if that is anybody, but I do like writing this blog even if nobody is reading it. Now my life has made some changes over the past week. The biggest change is that I resigned from my job at the construction company and now have a new job as an accounting assistant for Sterling International, Inc. Sterling makes and sells bug traps nationally and internationally. I have been training most of last week and thoroughly enjoy the job. I officially start on Monday. Thank you Lord for releasing me from the last job and providing me with this new job. Also thank you Father for taking care of me and providing for all my needs.

This week, we had a conference for teenage girls so we took some girls from our youth group. The conference is called the Revolve Tour. The musical groups were the praise band, Group 1 Crew, Krystal Meyer, Hawk Nelson and my favorite Natalie Grant. The speakers were Jenna Lucado, Danielle Kimmey (formerly from Out of Eden) and Chad Eastham. There was also an awesome drama team and an amazing hostess Courtney Clark Cleveland. The music was loud and all the screaming teenage girls made it even louder, but I didn't loose any of my hearing. I did feel old at this conference because I am almost 23 years old and this is for teenage girls, but I did receive some great relationship advice for me when that time comes. Our seats were awesome, 10 rows from the front and because the stage had a peninsula, then we were 4 rows from the front. To be less than 50 feet from Natalie Grant was awesome. I did take some pictures that I will not be able to post as they came in unclear.

Well that is all for now. May our Almighty God bless you throughout this entire week. I forgot to mention, my birthday is next Wednesday and like I said, I will be 23. Just wanted to let you know. Peace Out.

A lot has gone on in my life

Well I know that you are all probably wanting to know what I have been up to. There has been a lot going on. Work is going okay. The company is staying busy and we continue to build homes. I have started 4 Bible Studies this Fall. The Young Adult Group is doing the book of Genesis and that is amazing. I am also taking two Precept bible studies called Kinsmen Redeemer and Covenant. The final bible study is called The Truth Project. Each bible study is different and I will be learning a lot and that is what makes me really excited. With all of that, Youth Group is going great. We are going to take some girls to a conference in November called The Revolve Tour and then hopefully throw a Christmas Party in around the Holidays. I do continue to work out at least 4 times a week. I still have about 15 more pounds to lose but am at a plateau right now and just keep going knowing I will jump over the hurdle. The TV show "The Biggest Loser" is still my ultimate favorite show and an inspiration to me. Just so you all know, I am able to take time out for myself once in a rare while.

I have been to a few events lately. At the end of September, my dad and I went to a fundraiser for the new Aerospace Museum that is coming to Spokane, WA in the near picture. The picture below is of the airplane that did a bi-continental flight on the older mail route from San Francisco, CA to New York, NY.

The next event was a desert banquet were the son of a former president spoke as the guest speaker. The president is the late Ronald Reagan. His son is Michael Reagan. I was able to get a picture with him and here it is.

Finally, my dad and I are new season ticket holders for the Gonzaga Women's Basketball Team. So last week, we were able to go down to the Arena, pick our seats and hang out with the team. Our seats are in Section 108, Row 2 Seats 1 and 2. Here are some pictures of the seats. There is a close up of me and the seats and then a far back one of me in the seats and the section.

Well that is all. I will leave you with this. As the election approach, please pray that God's will be done. God already knows who won and He will prepare us for the new leadership that will be here. So with that, may our God bless you in this upcoming week.

School starting, fall approaching and an update

Well I am back again after a long month. A couple posts ago I promised to give my reaction on the recent Olympics in Beijing, China. I absolutely loved watching them and am so proud of all the American athletes and their accomplishments. The two plus weeks went by so fast and lets just say I had some short nights of sleep due to staying up late to watch the events. Some highlights for me were Michael Phelps winning 8 Gold Medals with some races by hundredths of a second, the gymnastics with the Chinese and Americans going at it, the Chinese dominance in diving, and much more. Overall I loved watching the Olympics and can't wait until the Winter Olympics in 2010.

Labor Day weekend was a time of relaxing for me as my parents went on a vacation and I stayed at home getting chores done and just having time to myself. I did finally set up my stereo that I got from my parents for my birthday last year. It is an awesome stereo and I am glad that I finally did set it up. The weekend after my parents and I went to a concert for the WA Air National Guard 60th reunion and it was outstanding. The music was soothing and relaxing.

School has started and I wish I was going back. I have made the comment that if being a full time student was an occupation and you could get paid to do it then that is what I would want to do for the rest of my life but unfortunately that isn't the real world. With the start of school, fall is going to be here before we know it and the weather will be changing with the leaves falling making it colder and the holidays approaching faster than it really seems. I love this time of year. The fall is going to be extremely busy for me. I have four bible studies, Youth Group, work, yard clean up before winter time and so much more. I am excited for it and can't wait to dive in and just go.

Recently we have had a conference happening in Spokane called the Spiritual Hunger Conference. This conference has been amazing and refreshing. The Lord has totally been present and just growing my faith more and more within me. This is a free conference and if anybody is in Spokane during this time I would recommend that you attend. You will not regret it. If you live here in Spokane I would also tell you to go. It is well worth it.

Well that is all for my update. I pray God's blessing over each and everyone of you. May He be your guidance as you go down on your journey.

Skyfest 2008 @ Fairchild Air Force Base

Last Saturday was a very loud, bring the ear plugs kind of day. It was Skyfest 2008 @ Fairchild Air Force Base. I was totally in love. My heart melts whenever I can get on an Air Force Base and see all of the airplanes. The Blue Angels were there and they were amazing. Here are some of the pictures that were taken of all of the airplanes and the air show. The first five pictures are of the Blue Angels doing their show and the other five pictures are of random airplanes.

I hope you all enjoy the pictures. There were so many types of planes from C-10's, KC-135's, F-18's, F-14's, F-16's and many more. It was awesome. Well that's all for now. I hope you are enjoying the Olympics. I will update on my thoughts about the Olympics in my next post, so stay tuned. Until next time, may the Lord Almighty Father be your Provider.

7 Months of the Year Already Gone

Only one post in July, I apologize that I didn't write as much in July as earlier months. July was a very busy month for me. I worked a lot and then was able to make a vacation at the end of the month which was last week. I was able to travel to Turlock, California and see my Aunt and six cousins. I had a grand time. I still wish I was there and a part of me wants to move there so I can be around them all the time. My family is amazing and the times that we do get together are cherished so much. Below are some pictures that I took.

So I pray that you are blessed this entire week and I promise to post sooner than later. God bless everyone who reads this.
